Exemption Policy
For exemption:
• Three unexcused tardies=1 absence towards exemption. 10 or more cumulative unexcused tardies in one semester will eliminate the student’s exemption status for all classes.
• Junior or Senior must have a 90 or above average with 1 absence in that class period or an 80 average with zero absence in that class period.
• Freshmen may exempt one (1) class and Sophomores two (2) classes. The same 90 or above with 1 absence or an 80 average with zero absences still follows.
• Freshmen and Sophomores must have prior written approval to exempt a class and must present the written approval form to the teacher. Students will obtain the approval form from the office. You will not be exempt without this approved form.
• Students without an 80 average or with more than 1 absence will not be considered for exemption.
• Students that have been assigned Saturday School, ISS, Suspension, or DAEP will not be exempt that semester.

** if a student is more than 10 minutes late any period student will be referred to office
